David Bruce

My art comes from my imagination and is expressed from heart and through my inadiquite hands. I see the beauty in my mind and feel the power in my sole and put it down with my angst ridden body. This is how I explain my playful wanderings from sublime whisps of graceful shapes dancing on a canvas to wild and contorted faces whose emotion is as confused and disturbing as the viewers.

I drew as a child. I didn't stop drawing until I got a computer job. I started painting in collage. I painted through my computer job. It' saved my sole. I have no formal credentials except that I cofounded the ArtVanSF. I guess the best thing about my art is that I love it. I can barely part with it. I'm looking for a few good folks to help me with that last bit.
