99 cent art is back. It's cultural smack that gives you that fast food fix you need and the moral fiber you long for. Moral Fiber? That's right, because this is a benefit.
What does it benefit? Us. Who else would bring you, the common man, art you can afford. But it also benefits the starving artists who will eat at MceyD's or somewhere better if you buy enough to send us to the French Laundry.
So, starting Saturday, June 12th in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco at noon, we'll be doing our "Fast Food Art Tour" with short order artists preparing 99 cent art hot off the easel. Then we'll be stopping to put some in the tank around 3pm. Come find us around Haight and Shrader and be prepared for some fast food art!
Wow. Five artists and two order takers made over 90 bucks in three hours. This aint no get rich quick scheme but if we franchise we will become richer than our wildest dreams... in our dreams, of course.
